I view therapy as a means to acquire a well-equipped toolbox of positive and healthy life skills. These skills will help the client recognize, understand, and utilize their internal power for overcoming life’s many external forces that may be causing distress or dysfunction in their life. My job as a therapist is to maintain a safe, caring, and confidential environment for my clients as they embark on that journey.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. I am a certified Love and Logic instructor. I have received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Managing Aggressive Behavior (MAB), QPR Suicide Prevention, and Medical and Narrative Therapy Approaches for at-risk children.
